The Concert 'Nova et Vetera, Homage to the Virgin Mary' was created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the foundation of the 'Arrigo Tavagnacco' Choir of Manzano.

The title encapsulates the deepest meaning of the musical choice made for the construction of this project: the commissioning and performance of "ex novo" music around the figure of the Virgin Mary with an important assumption, that of trying to propose "musical innovation" while remaining in the "groove" of tradition.

Among the composers who have joined the project are prominent figures in today's choral music such as Mariano Garau, Gianmartino Maria Durighello, Roberto Brisotto, together with two young and talented composers such as Michele Gadioli and Alessio Domini, who are entering the choral world with their first compositions dedicated to the choir.
