Our Mayor Mauro Usai recently attended the celebrations in honour of Santa Barbara in Pieve Vergonte, an event rich in meaning and sharing.

A special moment was the wonderful concert in which our Concordia Villa Ecclesiae Choir shone, performing together with the Santa Orsa and Santa Lucia choirs and the Monterosa Choir. It was an emotional performance in honour of the patron saint of miners in the Plebana prebisturale parish of SS Vincenzo and Anastasio in Pieve Vergonte.

During the festivities, the Mayor of Pieve Vergonte, Maria Grazia Medali, conferred honorary citizenship on our fellow citizen Raimondo Congia, recognising his value and commitment to inter-institutional collaboration.

A warm applause also goes to our illustrious composer Mariano Garauwho was honoured with a special award by the twinned municipalities.

These moments of celebration and culture strengthen the bonds between our communities, testifying to the beauty of unity and cultural exchange.
